The state’s former budget director is on the Emporia State University campus Wednesday evening.
Duane Goossen will give a chat called “Fixing Kansas’ Broken Budget.”
Goossen is now a senior fellow with the Kansas Center for Economic growth. He served as the state’s budget director for 12 years prior to Sam Brownback becoming governor in 2010 and was also a seven-term member of the Kansas House.
The talk starts at 7 pm at the Memorial Union Blue Key Room. It’s free and open to the public.
