The Kansas Center for Economic Growth is seeking summer interns. The deadline to apply is Friday.

“We produce research and analysis that looks to elevate budget and tax policy discussions,” KCEG Executive Director Annie McKay said. “We’re interested in promoting balanced and responsible budget and tax policies. We do that through infographics, blog posts and policy briefs.”

The Kansas Center for Economic Growth publishes for everyone from every day Kansans to policymakers to members of the media.

Interns will be asked to assist outside the Topeka office, as well.

“We’re also out on the road quite a bit, speaking to communities across the state about the impacts of budget and tax policy,” McKay said. “So, we’re looking for students who have four semesters of undergraduate courses under their belt or graduate students to come and join our team and help us in producing that research and analysis.”

Students need to submit a cover letter explaining their interest, a resume or CV, and a writing sample of no more than 10 pages to by Friday, April 1st. Please include internship in the subject line of your e-mail.
